A great resource so far, thank you! Saying that, I can appreciate the fact that the site isn't 100% shiny around the edges yet, but is there a strong rational for restricting access to its content? I feel that the current setup is shooting itself in the foot by unnecessarily stifling development and community building. There's a reason why the 'beta' label came to be associated with the Web 2.0 movement, i.e., that the developers trusted others to get involved in the process at an earlier stage. Another issue - having the Main Page of the wiki locked means that it's unusable by users of the site as no-one can even start to add new content or work on a basic article structure. Could this be changed?

Everyone with an account can edit the wiki. The only page that is locked down is the home page.
I've always wondered if it was a good thing when anyone can edit a Wiki. You really have to wonder how accurate that information is.
Althought everyone can edit a wiki but wiki always have crew of admin, mod,...will edit those information again and make sure it can show up exactly what it is.

I appreciate moderating a forum is difficult. How about not allowing a links except say in signatures? And how about adding a buttong "Flag as spam" and let the community help. Or recruit extra moderators from the community.
